Hi Taurah Friends & Fam!
It's been a hot minute since my last blog post but I just wanted to let you all know why we are here. Jessica and I are big "walk everyday" & "move our bodies" people but we want to bring to light that somedays are for resting, relaxing, and not letting yourself feel guilty about it.
Do you feel like you prioritize wellness? I sure do, but I like to listen to my body intuitively to hear what it needs.
For example, yesterday the sun was shining and I was high-energy so I got dressed to go for a run. My hips and knee felt a little tight, so instead of running I decided to stretch first (felt SO good), and then go for a walk with my dear old Dad.
Intuitively, I needed to listen to my body and not strain it with a tougher run, but also mindfully needed some quality time with family during an otherwise hectic day.
This isn't revolutionary, and it's not my idea because I've been learning from other leaders on social, through books, on podcasts about being really mindful about what you need holistically. Approaching movement, healthy eating, rest, and life in general with a sense of mindfulness and intuition has been a game-changer in the last year for me as I develop a better relationship with exercise and food.
Bringing mindfulness and intuitive movement to Taurah has been a priority from day one, but now we are ready to scream it from the rooftops and cheer you all on throughout this journey. If you want to celebrate moving your body, then we want to celebrate YOU no matter how that looks! We're so happy you're here friends.
